Talk:Generative Economy

Gah! Wikipedia is still so frustratingly unintuitive! I just want a simple, obvious way to correctly add a reference. That does not exist right now, but I know we can make the flow so much better! Trying reference: http://www.cuttingedgecapital.com/the-design-of-ownership-the-architecture-of-extractive-vs-generative-ownership/

It's doubtful that Marjorie Kelly came up with this term in 2013 when there are earlier references to the same phrase. For just one example, see "The Nature of Technology" by Brian Arthur, published in 2009: "in the generative economy, management derives its competitive advantage not from its stock of resources and its ability to transform those into finished goods, but from its ability to translate its stock of deep expertise into ever new strategic combinations.” — Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.6.213.80 (talk) 16:46, 19 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
