If both names are recognized, how come the only name is 'General Carrera' excluding 'Buenos Aires'? Seems a little biased towards Chile. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.17.128.252 (talk) 20:22, 31 March 2018 (UTC) Edit: I just saw the name was chosen by a simple voting, and knowing there are online groups of Chileans patrolling this site it's no surprise Carrera 'won'. 'Lake Buenos Aires' is older than Carrera, a name given in the '60s. That's a fact. That means to the world, the argentine part was known that way. How come it's blatantly ignored on this site?
