I'm going to have to come back to this, but the introduction is wrong on a number of counts. I already corrected the rather odd statement that "Gear oil is a motor oil that...." but the assertion that it is of "higher viscosity" (than what?!) is plain wrong. It can be, but you can get some gear oils that are pretty thin. The SAE viscosity ranges use higher numbers than for motor oils, but they are measured in a different way and are in no way comparable. This assertion about thick oil is woven throughout the introduction so it needs a complete re-write rather than a quick edit, hence why I'll have to come back.
