Highest village claim edit
The settlement is doubtless amongst the highest in Wales though the given source for this info is a children's quiz page on the OS website. A slightly larger village of Trevil/Trefil on the same OS Explorer map sheet (OL13) sits almost wholly above the 400m contour (whereas Garn-yr-erw is almost wholly below it); it is clearly higher than Garn-yr-erw.
