Gage Clarke was one of those ubiquitous character actors with an interesting face and demeanor who appeared on dozens of television series in the '50s and '60s. I think it serves a purpose for future viewers watching a DVD or perhaps an episode on a cable channel like TV Land to be able to look up a supporting actor or actress on Wikipedia and get some focused information in a readable format rather than being limited to the Internet Movie Database and bouncing around the rest of the internet picking up bits and pieces. Clarke was an interesting character actor, a very definite type, likely to spur curiosity among future generations of viewers perusing early television series and who might wind up clicking on Wikipedia trying to find out more about him, especially as technology inevitably renders these television series readily available to everyone as time goes on. I think a brief article about him merits an inclusion, especially since there are dozens of articles in Wikipedia about similarly forgotten character actors with far fewer roles. (If this article is deleted, I imagine that someone will eventually have to wind up writing it again as more curiosity-seekers type his name into Wikipedia's search bar as time goes on.) I hope the article is actually an asset to Wikipedia and that someone saves it from deletion. MightyArchangel (talk) 00:13, 26 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
