Gaff (cross-dressing)Gaff (clothing) – The term transgender comes up more often in Google search than crossdressing. Clothing seems more apt. 88.104.40.54 (talk) 16:22, 6 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

  • Support since it's not specific to cross-dressing. PC78 (talk) 11:53, 7 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Suspensorium genitalis edit

In Nazi Germany, gaffs were sold underground under the name "Suspensorium genitalis".

("The suspensorium genitalis is a special bandage to cover the male genitals, as it is similarly worn by performers" )

The source also describes how the seamstress, as well as her customers faced persecution under the Nazi regime. ZoraSilv (talk) 09:29, 3 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
