Does the book explicitly mention her son as Autistic? Because if he was he would not have developed in in his teens there would have being some sign of it since he was a child and if not since he was about two. As this quote from the article on Autism says: "About half of parents of children with ASD notice their child's unusual behaviors by age 18 months, and about four-fifths notice by age 24 months" unless the book explicitly says 'David is Autistic' this should be reworded to David became mentally ill or socially isolated. Actually even if it does I'm rewording it to 'David developed a disease the comic inaccurately describes as autism' as if the comic is describing a 19 year old as developing Autism they obviously did not do the research and don't know what they are talking about and all they are doing is perpetuating stereotypes about Autism that there are way too much of already. Ambiguity - whose relationship ended? edit

Something is unclear in the fictional biography section. Here are the last 2 sentences of the first paragraph and the first two sentences of the second paragraph:

Immediately afterwards, Magnus left Gabby and Charles feeling that her and Charles' view on mutants and humans contrasted [with] his own.
Magnus left with Nazi gold HYDRA wanted to claim.
Over some time, the two amicably ended their relationship.
Soon after, Charles leaves Israel unaware that Gabrielle was pregnant

In the first two sentences, the following individuals are identified: Magnus, Gabby, Charles, Magnus (again). That would make make Charles & Magnus the last "two" individuals. So, the portion in italics could refer to the friendship relationship between Charles and Magnus, since the first of these sentences indicates a parting of the ways. The italicized language could indicate that while there was disagreement, they remained friends.

On the other hand, the portion in italics could be referring to the romantic relationship between Charles and Gabby, with then a physical/geographic separation added on. Either way, this should be clarified.

Not having read the graphic version of Legion, I don't know, but I suspect the latter is intended, that is, the first sentence of the 2nd para moves on to the topic of the romantic relationship. If not, it definitely needs clarification.

If it does, the italicized section should be changed to something along the lines of: "Gabby and Charles amicably ended their relationship."

I would also recommend a couple of other edits. The first sentence states that Magnus' view contrasted with that of the couple. A contrast of views implies some difference, but not enough of a reason to make a break. Perhaps "conflicted" is what is intended. The next sentence is a little awkward, I would rewrite all four as follows:

Realizing that his view on mutants and humans was in conflict with that of Gabby and Charles, Magnus left immediately after the battle. Magnus took with him Nazi gold that HYDRA wanted.
Over time, Gabby and Charles *drifted apart,* [and/but] they amicably ended their relationship. Soon after, Charles leaves Israel unaware that Gabrielle is pregnant.
  • Alternatively, it could be that they *recognized they were incompatible" or "grew apart* or just leave it out and say "After some time, Gabby and Charles amicably ended their relationship."

Out of curiosity, since this article is about her, did she know that she was pregnant but decided not to tell him or did she realize it after he left, but decided not to involve him? Seems like a significant character point.

Some other things that aren't clear: Since she was catatonic, I assume she was institutionalized. Did Gabby get out of the hospital, as in the TV series? Was Charles also in the hospital? Did Magnus just help with Gabby's recovery, or did he help her [them] get out of the hospital? Or, was she still in the hospital when the terrorist attack came? Did they get married and set up house as the TV series implied? Was Magnus staying with them when the attack happened or did he just happen to be there?
