I agree with that statement! this page is written like a press release, probably by somone who works for the channel. it is a disgrace and should be removed immediately!

I disagree. I don't know about the content, but this is exactly WHY I came to Wikipedia in the first place, but it has more articles than a typical encyclopedia, and so I could look up information on this network other than at its own website. I feel the same way about the inclusion of most brand names or stores in the Wikipedia. Why try to trim the encyclopedia down for space. So many have to cut important and interesting articles for space concerns. This isn't as MUCH of a concern for Wikipedia. Not saying that space isn't a concern, there is always the issue of funding, but that's one of the reasons I very much enjoy the encyclopedia. I vote to keep the article, though there is much room for improvement. --Larry G 19:01, 24 January 2006 (UTC)

The people who are against this article in regards to GMA Pinoy TV should think twice about this action of deleting it. I don't think it sounds like an advertisement and never it had ever sounded like one even before. There's no need to delete this article since it is appropriately done and should be broadened. The article, does indeed, sound entertaining and that has been the main gist of the station indicated. One cannot put up a bland and boring article in contrast to a medium of entertainment, that is just a ridiculous juxtaposition.

Hello po sa mga taga GMA. Ako po si Mary at isa po ako sa masugid nyong manonood ng GMA Pinoy TV dito sa Canada. Lagi po kaming nag aabang ng mga bagong telenovelas ninyo. Masyado po kaming nag enjoy sa mga natapos ninyong mga shows. Inaabangan po namin ngayon ang bago pong "Ang babaeng hinugot sa aking tadyang". Baka naman po pwedeng humingi ng pabor na pwedeng isama nyo sa hapon starting 4.30 ang telenovela nyo na ito at ang mga bago nyo pang darating kasi madalas po pang gabi ang shift ng work namin kaya hindi na po namin mapanood sa gabi ang mga inaabangan naming mga telenovelas. Sa slots na ito lang ang posible naming mapanood lahat ng mga inaabangan naming telenovelas. Sana naman po mapagbigyan nyo kami sa aming kahilingan. Ito lang po ang paraan na nakakapag connect pa rin kami sa Pilipinas sa pamamagitan ng panonood ng shows ng GMA. Salamat po and MORE POWER!

Unsourced/unverifiable/sounds like an advertisement

This article sounds more like an advertisement than an encyclopedia article. There are also a lot of unsourced and unverifiable statement here. For those who are watching this article, please cite your sources or else I would have to delete such materials and I will rewrite this all for once to meet the standard of Wikipedia.
