Fuzz or fuzzy? edit

Is it really necessary to have "fuzzy" redirect here? Are people looking for one often really meaning the other? Tedernst | talk 16:41, 3 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

I think it's helpful, especially for non-native speakers. —Psychonaut 22:22, 3 January 2006 (UTC)Reply
Could you expand on that? Do non-native english speakers not distinguish between the two forms? Or is it something else? Tedernst | talk 22:30, 3 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Slang edit

What about the slang term for female genitalia/pubic hair?
And wouldn't it be better to sort terms into semantic groups
e.g. fuzzy as in set or logic i.e. unclear, foggy, 'in degrees' or hard to determine;
and fuzzy as in felt or vellum;
and them maybe misc. slang terms etc. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.100.150.161 (talk) 21:21, 27 April 2006‎

I suggest creating a separate disambiguation page for the Mathematics and computer science section as the fuzzy article, and removing the redirect from fuzz. --V. Szabolcs 13:45, 17 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
There seem to be three main meanings of fuzz -
unclear or distorted; fuzzy (optics), fuzzbox, fuzzy logic -> math and sci
furry or hairy; vellum, slang->female genitalia
unrelated slang or coincidental usage; e.g. slang for 'police'

Why split this into several disambiguation pages? That's just going to make people have to follow more links in order to find the term they're looking for. The page as it currently exists is already structured into sections of manageable length. —Psychonaut (talk) 08:19, 11 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
