Too long edit

- The problem is that anything shorter suggests that fuse and fuze are synonyms, which is inaccurate. Really the ideal solution would be:
- Move current fuze to fuze (disambiguation)
- Delete the redirect
- Move fuze (explosives) to fuze
- Unmerge the stuff about the gunpowder-impregnated cord, and put that at fuse actually should be fuse (explosives) -- I forgot about the current-limiting gadget
- That would be better, because the overwhelmingly primary meaning of fuze is "complicated detonator", certainly not the almost unknown soft drink, and because it would clearly make the distinction. However apparently some British English speakers use "fuse" for both sorts of detonator, so the issue is a bit tricky, and in any case beyond the scope of the talk page for a dab page. But the dab page should not actively perpetrate an inaccuracy. --Trovatore (talk) 23:26, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
