Satellite services

Paradise Community Church has services in five separate locations. The original location at Paradise holds services on Sunday mornings and Friday nights, with other services in the western suburbs of Adelaide at Hendon, the northern suburbs in Elizabeth and another at their new city campus at 113 Currie St in the city of Adelaide. In addition they have a campus in Perth

Can you wait until the end of January? It'll be unprotected then. -- Eraserhead1 <talk> 21:12, 10 January 2011 (UTC)

Done I added the list of locations, although without some of th edetails you have above. We definitely don't list addresses (per WP:NOTDIRECTORY), and I don't think we even need the neighborhoods, although if someone else feels a little more specific is better, then that's fine. Article improvement

I've started initiating some edits of the page. Information really must be sourced, because Wikipedia really isn't a place for advertisement and promotion. The church of course has played a key role in community, but unsourced facts should be simply deleted. Pbselgomez (talk) 17:56, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

Seems like a good idea, but we need to be careful not to replace unsourced information with more unsourced information, especially where identities of living people are concerned. - Bilby (talk) 23:14, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:PCC-Logo-Transparent-3.gif

Image:PCC-Logo-Transparent-3.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

I'm relatively sure it was a breach of copyright. PlumbLove (talk) 00:34, 18 March 2011 (UTC)

Influencers church

This church has now been re-named to Influencers Church. Maybe its time we revamp this page? and change the weblinks if necessary? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.43.227.18 (talk) 09:50, 29 July 2012 (UTC)

I agree with this, I have just included a request to have the page name changed, based on the church name change JereeeeemyJohnsonRox (talk) 06:19, 25 April 2013 (UTC)

Discussion

Comment: It does not appear that the name chance has been properly referenced using a verifiable source. It is not clear on the homepage that the name of the church has changed. Also can you clarify how long it has gone under this new name, as we prefer the COMMONNAME over the official name. Thanks. Tiggerjay (talk) 07:07, 25 April 2013 (UTC)

Family First & Paradise CC

It said

The founding pastor was Andrew Evans, currently a Family First member of the South Australian Legislative Council (or Upper House). Andrea Mason, Director of Family First is also a member.
  • currently it reads as if Ashley Evans founded Family First,
  • why remove the reference to Andrew Evans?
  • is Andrea Mason not a member?

Paul foord 06:52, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

It contradictorily states that Family First is secular yet has Christian morals/ values —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.179.239.153 (talk) 05:57, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
Indeed it did. Fixed now. Also fixed the Family First link, which was pointing to a disambiguation page. PollyWaffler (talk) 06:39, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
Paul, the issue isn't whether you're correct or not. It's an issue of referencing. Do you have a newspaper source that claims Andrea Mason was a member of Family First? Or a newspaper source that supports the claim Andrew Evans was the "founding" pastor of Paradise? Even so, the propensity/accuracy of the article may be dubious. PlumbLove (talk) 00:34, 18 March 2011 (UTC)
You are responding to a post of 2006 that responded to the removal of reference to both people -- re Andrea Mason, anyway see A mission for the family, (October 20, 2004), The Age Paul foord (talk) 11:29, 18 March 2011 (UTC)
Paul, it's useful to look with the benefit of hindsight though, and observe that there is a blatant attempt to smear conservative political parties by linking it with churches 101.183.21.131 (talk) 08:51, 7 May 2018 (UTC)

Neutrality disputed (Jan 2015)

Please write any relevant comments here.

Mate, if you are disputing the neutrality of the article you need to stipulate why the neutrality is disputed rather than say "Please write any relevant comments here". Neutrality notice removed given it has been here since Jan 2015, and it's now May 2018 and nobody has provided any reasonable evidence! 2001:8003:6A23:2C00:F012:2F2F:8C95:7673 (talk) 14:56, 18 May 2018 (UTC)

Family First/Australian Conservatives

Would be good to include something about how Family First/Australian Conservatives largely grew out of the Influencers Church. And also build on the history section in this document, because much of it has been explored in peer reviewed theological journals 2001:8003:6A23:2C00:D1CE:5E18:DC80:E5FC (talk) 08:23, 12 June 2018 (UTC)
