Talk:Future of the Royal Australian Navy

Scope? edit

I would imagine that an article at this title would be focusing on planned acquisitions for the RAN, andor the process through which the RAN acquires new vessels/equipment/capabilities. At the moment, a lot of the text describes the current fleet; information that, while useful and should be somewhere on Wikipedia, is outside the scope of this article and should be relocated (if so, where?). Am I right in thinking this, or am I barking up the wrong tree?. -- saberwyn 07:57, 17 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Yes, the article should be changed to describe the planned changes to the RAN's equipment holdings (including planned modifications to ships, aircraft, etc). Nick-D (talk) 08:13, 17 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Proposal to move this article to 'Future of the Royal Australian Navy'. edit

Moving the article would make it in line with the convention for naming similar articles, e.g. Future of the Royal Navy, Future of the Russian Navy. Keepcalmandchill (talk) 03:38, 27 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
