There seems to be little point in having a separate article about the disease and the causing agent, seeing as how both articles describe the symptomology and control efforts regarding the disease caused by this fungus. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 19:36, 7 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

  Done In the absence of any dissent, I have boldly merged the articles. In truth, there was no information in the Pine pitch canker article that was not better presented in this article, so a simple redirect has been created. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 13:00, 19 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
