Surely some of these links are wrong? The Anton von Wietersheim must be either http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anton_%28I.%29_von_Wietersheim or his son; Bernhard Meyer is more likely the Zerbst organist from the 17th century... German article

Actually, this list is an English version of de:Liste der Mitglieder der Fruchtbringenden Gesellschaft. Could anyone look and correct it? Regards,Jeff5102 (talk) 12:13, 3 September 2014 (UTC)

An article that consist of mainly redlinks might be a nice challenge, but nobody seems to be up to that task. A list of redlinks is of little use to our readers; to them it's just a list of names, and since names don't change in translation, it does not need to be mirrored and maintained across languages. Most article linking here are actually linking to Fruitbearing Society, which indicates that a general article is much more needed. I therefore suggest to rename this article to "Fruitbearing Society", cut down the list to only those members that actually have (or really should have) articles, and refer to the full German list in a hatnote. — Sebastian 15:48, 7 October 2015 (UTC)

List pruned and page renamed. Also changed links to this page. There was, not surprisingly, not a single true link to the "list"; all were meant to point to the society. Moreover, the interwiki links did not link to the list, but also to this article. But I have to admit that the list is still quite long. I think we can leave out the flowery German names, since they are already in the German list, and provide arguably no value to an English speaker. (Some of them are hard to understand even for a German speaker such as me.) That will allow running the list in columns. — Sebastian 01:56, 13 October 2015 (UTC)

On second thought, maybe a category would be better than the list. Since this list is only sorted alphabetically anyway, that would provide the same information. — Sebastian 02:31, 13 October 2015 (UTC)

Article title

I'm baffled that this article uses an English translation of Fruchtbringende Gesellschaft as its title. No one who publishes on this area uses an English title rather than the original - at best an English translation sits as an explanation between parentheses. In fact it's not even clear that this is the correct translation (Fructifying Society is more accurate in my view). This article needs to be moved to Fruchtbringende Gesellschaft. --Pfold (talk) 10:20, 14 February 2018 (UTC)
