Merger proposal

I propose to merge Sandy Beach (video game) into Frozen Codebase. This article needs some expansion anyway, and Sandy Beach seems like a WP:BARE case of meeting WP:GNG. These two reviews [1] and [2] are indepth, sure. But one of those comes from a Nintendo specific site, for which is more likely and expected to cover this game (this game is a Wii exclusive). The game released 10 years ago, the developer who made it closed, so there is a very unlikely chance this will become more notable (in what feels like an unremarkable sandcastle simulator). Weakly oppose. I agree that this only barely satisfies WP:GNG, but barely satisfying is still satisfying, so I'd say the game should be covered somewhere. It doesn't hugely matter where it's covered, but given the options between covering it in its own article and in its developer's article, I prefer the status quo of having it in its own article. I think it is generally strange to have a list of games on a developer's article and then have more detailed coverage of exactly one of them, so would rather avoid that.

(I also can't swear to this, but I'm pretty sure that there was reasonably in-depth coverage of the game in NGamer magazine as well. I remember it from when it was released, and NGamer was my gaming news source of choice at the time, so I strongly suspect that's where I remember it from. I no longer have any of the back issues, but it's a possibly worthwile lead for anyone looking to improve the article.) Lowercaserho (talk) 04:42, 15 April 2019 (UTC)
