Contested deletion

This article should not be speedy deleted as being recently created, having no relevant page history and duplicating an existing English Wikipedia topic, because this topic just came out. The Frontier League formally announced expansion to Mississippi on September 9th, and there has been no page created for the new franchise. I believe this is my first page I've ever created, so I do need some help, however, I do know the topic I am writing about. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JakeLaroi (talk • contribs)

@JakeLaroi: For a standalone article, a topic requires significant coverage from multiple reliable and independent sources. You only provided one such source; we'd need to see evidence of more coverage than that. If there is not sufficient quantity and quality of coverage, then it probably isn't ready for its own article yet (see WP:TOOSOON). --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 19:19, 9 September 2024 (UTC)

There are enough sources, and as I said, I am new to creating pages. This is a new, distinct, franchise in the league. A new team. It needs its own page! JakeLaroi (talk) 19:36, 9 September 2024 (UTC)

I will leave that evaluation to the reviewing administator. I will also say that creating new articles is one of the most difficult tasks for an inexperienced editor.
