Party name

Isn't a better translation Front Changes (although that sounds silly...) Since the Ukrainian word for for (=За) is not in the party's name. I'm not fluent in Ukrainian though... — Mariah-Yulia • Talk to me! 16:47, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

Political movement. or party??????

No. The definition of a political party is not determined by its "official" registration status. A political party is a group of people who have formed an association for the purpose of electing a candidate(s) to public office. Yatseniuk's Front for change party is definitely not a political movement

It is a [party] and is recognized as such. Its aim is to elect representatives to public office. It is not a political organization which is often by-partisan and established to promote or address a political issue of common interest. Ukr-Trident (talk) 05:04, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

Ukr-Trident - it's not party. Yatsenuk seems has already paid money for documents of one of parties listed here and will rename it just before elections. Front for Change is registered as community organization and should be listed in Wikipedia as such. Note about it's possible future change of status is added to article. --TAG (talk) 20:22, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

Yatseniuk's Party status

It is a question of definition not registration. The party is not an organisation (Which by definition is non-partisan) Yatsenyuk's Front for Change has been established for the sole purpose of electing a candidate for public office. It is a party, It has members and an administrative structure. Also Yatseniuk is not "Independent" He was elected to the Parliament as a representative of the Our Ukraine - People's Self-Defence bloc list. Ukr-Trident (talk) 14:27, 7 September 2009 (UTC)

Some questions...

Could not find the answers to some questions that arouse to me:

• In September OU-PSD faction leader Mykola Martynenko joined Front of Changes (FoC). The website of the party is unclear on how many VR deputies are now a member of FoC (I wonder why they seem keen on keeping this a mystery...). Do you know?

The reference below claims that FoC is in talks with Rinat Akhmetov to get founded by him(!); do you find this likely?

Orphaned references in Front for Change (Ukraine)

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Front for Change (Ukraine)'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
