This article is in good shape. A few comments:

  • suggest "Forbin was a protected cruiser, the lead ship of the Forbin class built in the late 1880s for the French Navy."
    • Done
  • suggest "The Forbin-class cruisers werewas built" and link ship class
    • Done
  • suggest "She in reserve in 1901 when she had an ammunition fire related to unstable Poudre B propellant charges."
    • Done
  • where were the TTs located?
    • That I don't know
  • "Tage took part in the fleet maneuvers in 1894"? Forbin?
    • Good catch
  • "On 14 April 1901, an accidental propellant fire occurred aboard Forbin"
    • Fixed
  • suggest "Algiers in French Algeria"
    • Done
  • in service during WWI as a collier, but didn't do anything?
    • Nothing recorded, at least - presumably she was used to support something, either the main fleet at Malta/Corfu or the Dardanelles detachment (or one of the lesser units in Syria, Morocco, or elsewhere), but we don't know
  • is there an OCLC for Journal of the American Society of Naval Engineers and Notes on the year's naval progress?
    • Added

Just a few nitpicks really, nice work. Placing on hold for the above to be addressed. Peacemaker67 (click to talk to me) 03:59, 15 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
