Copied from old talk page edit

When changing the constitution, both houses seat together in Versailles and take the name of Congress (french : Congrès). Generally, it is headed by the president of the National Assembly. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 80.119.205.140 (talkcontribs) 14:51, December 16, 2004 (UTC).

Right Panel Picture edit

The picture is misleading, it is the Palais du Luxembourg (house of the Senate) not the Chateau de Versailles that is displayed — Preceding unsigned comment added by Trhgr22 (talkcontribs) 14:29, 21 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Date discrepancy edit

This article indicates that the "Assemblee Nationale" existed in 1791, but it links to a page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Assembly_(French_Revolution)) that says that the "National Assembly" existed in 1789. Is it linking to the correct page? Why are the dates different?2604:2000:EFC0:2:4DF6:6328:1154:9482 (talk) 04:10, 11 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Removed a politically-motivated edit edit

{copied from the main "French Parliament" page}

"French parliament supports racism. Moreover, France is a religion less county with no honor in religious people. Recent evidence on anti-Islam propaganda and disrespect on prophet Mohammad (S) is worth mentioned. As a result, France is now facing worldwide movement called ,"boycott_france_product " Calls are growing in parts of the Muslim world to boycott French goods in protest after President Emmanuel Macron publicly defended cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed, which are considered blasphemous in Islam.Italic text"

I deleted this edit by another contributor as it expresses an unsubstantiated, specific political interpretation rather than fact-based information about the French Parliament, as per Wikipedia rules and guidelines.
