Apostrophe or not

I don't want to opine about whether or not Freemasons Hotel should have an apostrophe (It was more trouble than it was worth last time), but:

• If does, it probably should be after the "s" (unless it was owned or drunk at by only one freemason).
• This and other articles should be consistent in its title and usage. Currently we have instances of
  • Freemasons Hotel
  • Freemasons' Hotel
  • Freemason' [no "s"] Tavern and Newcastle Hotel
  • Freemasons' Tavern and Newcastle Hotel
  • Freemasons's Hotel
  • In Daniel Connor, Freemason's Hotel

What did Innes organise or form?

This sentence

In 1871, a tea meeting and concert at the hotel, organised by Rev. Innes formed a young men's reading club, with James Drummond chairing the meeting.
