Editor from the Museum edit

Greetings,

I am Derric Atzrott. I am from the Frederick and Pennsylvania Line Railroad Museum. I am going to be trying to work on this article to bring it up to FA status over the next few weeks/months. I am an experienced Wikipedia editor (my main account is User:Zellfaze, but please please please reach out to me if anything I am doing seems not kosher. We want to use the knowledge of the museum to help improve Wikipedia. I am familiar with WP:COI and will be working to avoid issues with it.

Cleanup edit

Going to keep track of the tasks that I have done to the article here for transparency's sake.

  • I just finished up fixing the citation errors. I'd like to draw attention to one particular edit though, [1]. In this edit I removed the date specified in the citation because it does not exist... I'm not sure what to do here beyond go look at the original source. So for the moment it just says Feb 1895. • Marked all dead links as such after running the page through the W3C link validator. I will try to check the library tomorrow to see if I can find copies of those Frederick News Post citations there, just to verify. I'll also check archive.org for archived copies of the a website that went down. Fpl-dmatzrott (talk) 01:25, 8 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Engineer reference misspelled ... edit

After a lot of research trying to locate the engineer responsible for building the railroad, I was finally able to clarify his name. It is John Haydon ... not Hayden. I am making changes to article to setup the page... Cheers Risk Engineer (talk) 17:02, 8 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
