Not terribly familiar with wikipedia rules, but does this violate NPOV rules?
"He knows little to nothing about the military; having never served. He does, however, align himself with President Clinton's Secretary of Defense Les Aspin, who grossly, ineptly, and ultimately tragically mishandled the US military in Somalia in 1993."
That would indeed violate the NPOV rules. I see somebody already removed it, or I would have. BTW, if you don't have an account, you should consider getting one, and if you do, you can sign your comments by typing four tildes in a row. (tilde is ~ that) Rmharman18:11, 10 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
Fred Kaplan (journalist) vs. Fred Kaplan (biographer)

What do we think about turning the page Fred Kaplan into a disambiguation page, and re-naming the current Fred Kaplan either Fred M. Kaplan or Fred Kaplan (journalist). This is to help avoid linking confusion with Fred Kaplan (biographer). It is easy to get these two mixed up at a glance because both are serious writers (the journalist was in a group that won a Pulitzer, and the biographer was nominated for one) and I think having that disambig page will help editors avoid linking errors, and help readers understand the difference between the two more readily. I am cross-posting this on Talk:Fred Kaplan (biographer) as well. Thanks KConWiki (talk) 21:05, 8 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
I support this proposal only because a third Fred Kaplan existed in the contract bridge world and was a champion player in the early 1930's. While generally not notable in accordance with Wiki standards, this third Kaplan might be sought by some and it should be clear that neither of the other two is him.
