Thoughts on draft version
editCommenting more generally on notability of IA-GOV candidates: Andy McGuire and Nate Boulton have articles; Fred Hubbell, John Norris, and Cathy Glasson do not (and there's no clear case for meeting any of the WP:N notability guidelines. I'd support keeping any of them if they win the Democratic primary, there will likely be enough coverage beyond local political horse-race coverage that the guidelines against candidates for political office can (in my opinion) be ignored in favor of WP:GNG.
For now, there need to be references separate from gubernatorial coverage to meet GNG for this to be accepted. It's possible coverage such as [1], [2], and [3] could be helpful. power~enwiki (π, ν) 22:54, 15 April 2018 (UTC)
- I've re-submitted this; due to my editing here I don't feel comfortable approving it through AFC myself. After cleanup to remove promo, adding a few references, and his primary victory, I expect this passes GNG. power~enwiki (π, ν) 05:30, 6 June 2018 (UTC)
