How is Fred's health these days?

Deep Throat

edit

Since it turned out that Fielding was not 'Deep Throat' is it appropriate for that section to still be in this article? —Linnwood 03:37, 9 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'd be inclined to keep it, tho more should be said abt how widely known the opinion was.

Reagan wounding

edit

NPR reported on him today for some reason, & mentioned he'd been the one to make the call as to who was in charge when RR was shot. That role deserves some sort of attention, tho i've no confidence i got enuf facts straight to write anything w/o research.

Quasi-Dab'n?

edit

I'm often inclined to want Dab'ns that don't occur to all editors. In this case, i heard his name and (tho i've no recollection that his middle initial, let alone middle name, was mentioned) confused him in my mind with another lawyer of almost the same generation, whose peer & colleague James D. St. Clair would also represent Nixon (in St. Clair's case in U.S. vs. Nixon), and who arguably might have had St. Clair's career except that Sen. Joseph McCarthy had "left no sense of decency" and probably compromised St. Clair's colleague's future by publicizing the colleague's flirtation with Marxism. The accompanying article is about Fred Fisher Fielding, and i could believe i am the only person to confuse Fielding & the St. C. colleague -- but if at least one other editor shared in that confusion, without first reading the name seen if you hover or click this lk , i think we need a ToP Dab on the accompanying article, and perhaps also on the other bio in question.

Fielding's history with Blackwater

edit

I think no profile on Fielding should be without mention of his work as executive, and legal counsel for Blackwater. It has appeared in USA Today, The Nation, etc. I have to apologize for being a little green; I'll leave it to your discretion on how its presented. ````Rawkcuf —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rawkcuf (talkcontribs) 18:05, 6 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Looks like he was outside counsel.Cite error: There are <ref> tags on this page without content in them (see the help page). Found no source verifying that he was an executive of the firm, and removed that claim. Perhaps it was in the dead link I was unable to trace at the wayback machine.
