Talk:Fraser Plateau

BCGNIS defines the plateau as lying between the Bonparate and Dean/West Road Rivers, but that surprised me as I was sure, or so I thought, that Holland classified the Nechako Plateau as part of the Fraser Plateau; if that's wrong (my interpretation/memory) then the Nechako Plateau and McGregor Plateau articles need changing; I'll x-ref with what BCGNIS says about the Cariboo Plateau as to where the northern limit is on the east side of the Fraser (the Cariboo Plateau is the east-of-Fraser subplateau of the Fraser Plateau) as I know it's got to be north of the Quesnel River, just not sure where exactly. The BCGNIS information should "jibe" with the information in Holland's magnum opus but maybe it doesn't; in the end analysis I'd go with Holland's book, even though BCTNIS is supposed to be based on it. Unlike USGS, BCGNIS and CGNDB don't provide boundary-points for their landforms....Skookum1 (talk) 00:58, 17 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
