Why I'm merging this page into another without waiting for a discussion

I'm merging this page into the Exchange Hotel (San Diego, California) without discussion because no one seems to care about it. I honestly don't expect anyone to engage in a discussion here. Why? Twelve years ago:

Its text and sources were cut and pasted without attribution from Selim Franklin.
It was written so confusingly that it's, at best, unclear and, at worst, unintentionally misleading.

Babies born when it was written are now entering middle school. In all those years, no one has noticed or cared enough to fix these blatant issues. Waiting around for a discussion about the merge would just be wasted time and there's so much more to do in Wikipedia... Oona Wikiwalker (talk) 06:47, 30 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
