Dating Dougie from McFly edit

Can someone please explain why the information that Frankie is dating Dougie from McFly keeps getting deleted? It has been added and reverted at least 5 times, one of which at least including a citation. There are plenty of other pages which contain such information, so why not here? 147.188.28.99 (talk) 17:54, 23 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

I don't really know how to change it but yh she is dating Dougie and apparently she used to be dating Calvin!!!:p

I would say it's unencyclopedic Furball3 (talk) 08:24, 2 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

I'm sorry, but it is my feeling that it does belong:

  • both parties are notable, having their own wiki pages;
  • the topic is often mentioned in reports/interviews on Frankie/her band;
  • there are many other such references on many other biography pages.

And as such I think it should stay. Duke Of Wessex (talk) 11:19, 6 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

someone keeps changing the Part about dougie and Frankie to has been known to Have Dated Dougie from Mcfly but Frankie is still with Dougie so can we please keep it at that. User:Jenzzyuk (Talk)

Jenzzy. The reason I change this is because of WP:DATED, which says you should avoid using language that dates. I've changed it to as of. -mattbuck (Talk) 18:07, 18 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

I (on another ip) edited to say it was over, but now it does seem to be, judging on OFFICIAL twittera and forums. 86.144.223.34 (talk) 20:58, 23 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

I don't think we can say for definate whether it is over - an interview in the UK newspaper News of the World has an interview with Frankie talking about her and Dougie, and is dated 23/05/09 (I don't see any merit adding the reference to the article, but it's here: [1]) Last Polar Bear (talk) 17:31, 24 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Photo edit

I added a photo of Ms. Sandford, which I had taken as a still from the video for 'Work' but now it's been deleted. I didn't get message that the image was rejected. May I ask who deleted the photo and why? It's not as if they replaced it by another photo.  SmokeyTheCat  •TALK• 18:21, 30 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Ancestry edit

Can anyone provide a source for her being part-Iranian, as was added and removed twice this month? Jim Michael (talk) 18:09, 27 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Infobox pic edit

I think it is of Rochelle Wiseman. Jim Michael (talk) 10:28, 14 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

  Fixed New pic is definitely of Sandford. Jim Michael (talk) 20:55, 24 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Split with Dougie edit

The papers said she split with Dougie, maybe to add it in? --2.97.155.117 (talk) 10:59, 4 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

If you provide sources, sure. But if you just add it without giving references, it will be removed post haste. -mattbuck (Talk) 13:59, 4 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Gossip in personal life section edit

I removed some of the material and was reverted, so I'm bringing it up here. Per WP:BLPGOSSIP, I think the material is inappropriate for a BLP. Who set her up with whom, and certainly the issue of the under dress photo are not encyclopedic, and the sources are gossip magazines or gossip sections in celebrity magazines. --Nuujinn (talk) 17:05, 15 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

"Philanthropy" edit

Without wanting to be curmudgeonly, does having taken part in a TV show where money was donated for charity, and "being a supporter" of a charity (I note the citation is just a photoshoot) really justify a section called "philanthropy"? Eoghan London (talk) 10:22, 27 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Well yes because she took part in TV show to get money for a charity of her choice. Sandford and the others The Saturdays also support a number of charitys including breast cancer. --ƒɾɛɛᴅᴑᴍºᵀᴬᴸᴷ 20:51, 16 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned references in Frankie Sandford edit

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Frankie Sandford's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "uk":

  • From The Climb (song): "Chart Stats – Miley Cyrus – The Climb". Chart Stats.com. The Official Charts Company. Retrieved November 22, 2009.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 19:04, 30 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Article name edit

I see DantODB has moved this from Frankie Sandford to Frankie Bridge. I rather disagree with this on COMMONNAME grounds as all her singing career has been as Sandford. -mattbuck (Talk) 23:49, 25 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Left school at 12 edit

At this moment Hey Tracey! (series 1, episode 6) is on ITV2, in which Bridge has said that she left school (presumably ordinary school, rather than stage school) at the age of 12. This information could perhaps be used to firm up the prose about her early life. Harfarhs (talk) 02:36, 10 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
