Contested deletion edit

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... (your reason here) --Nativecultnlaw (talk) 05:24, 29 April 2014 (UTC) Currently adding citations. Everything is verifiable from academic and historical sources.Reply

Regarding recent tags:

  • All sources are related to U of South Dakota. More 3rd party sources are needed.
  • Notability is not clearly established. More 3rd party secondary sources would help with this.
  • As noted here, the creator and some contributors may have significant conflicts of interests.

My sources included the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS), Lewis and Clark Law School, an article from We the People, Jury Nullification article, and then cited his bio off of USD and I used it to verify all of his academic credentials, but its actually the least significant, so deleting those citations would be very replaceable simply by finding his credentials elsewhere online. PBS has little bias and verifies his historical significance as well as the Jury nullification article, and We the People article. His academic significance is represented from the two law school bios. I was going to add his books to the page, but I'm afraid it will just be deleted. I feel like Native American people of notoriety are very rarely are given their due diligence, so I'm not surprised at that this article is trying to be brought down. I'm new to Wikipedia, so I'm not sure if this is a stringent system or the age-old academic bias towards native cultures.Nativecultnlaw (talk) 16:33, 1 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
Just stringency. When I see 5 new editors all related to the same school making edits on pages related to that school, it makes me cautious. EvergreenFir (talk) 20:46, 1 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
With good reason. --NeilN talk to me 21:04, 1 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
Thank you NeilN. Wonder if that IP user was one of them as well. EvergreenFir (talk) 21:23, 1 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello - I have also been working on publishing this article for over a year. I added information from the article I have been working on to this wiki post along with an image in the hopes that it will finally be accepted for publication. I have been through the ringer with reviewers giving me conflicting information for changes and several denials. This has been a very frustrating process - I would be very excited if a wiki person would just offer some straight forward help to complete the entry.

Thank you, Annie Woodle — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ajwoodle (talkcontribs) 21:28, 26 June 2014 (UTC) Ajwoodle (talk) 18:04, 27 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

(talk I have added new citations and contributed more information as well as a photograph of Mr. Pommersheim. Please review it again https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Pommersheim - I am aiming for publication without the worry of it being deleted. My research was done independently of USD & the subject is notable on many levels. Thank you for your time.
