Grandmaster references edit
I am concerned that a simple google search [1] produces so little Wikipedia:Verifiability sources for the claim of grandmaster. Could someone put a a good quality reference and end this uncertainty? Not that this is not about WP:Notability: that seem well-established. It is the claims of 9th dan and grandmastership that I would like to see more firmly referenced. References 1 & 2 - magazine does clearly refer to him as Grandmaster. Its in the writeup which yu probably cant see. Check with MAI magazine. Frank Massar is very well known in Taekwondo circle in the UK and British Taekwondo who host UK Olympics. Antonioyap (talk) 20:57, 25 November 2013 (UTC)
- When Frank is a person is presumed to be notable because he has been the subject of multiple published, non-trivial secondary sources which are reliable, intellectually independent and independent of the subject, yes, exactly, I expect to be able to read one of the sources. Could you supply one reliable source that is readable? I find it difficult to believe that I must pay money to learn anything about a person who is notable. When I must pay to learn about someone, it seems commercial and not at all notable. jmcw (talk) 22:16, 25 November 2013 (UTC)
