Possible new verifiable source?

I am new to editing Wikipedia, beyond anonymously fixing the odd typo; I am interested in making a more substantial contribution to this page but have a question about a possible verifiable source.

My grandfather was a landscape painter who had a friendship and painted with Paul Rodrik, son of Frank Johnston. I've recently been going through my grandfather's paintings and papers and came across a booklet published for a 1973 exhibition of paintings by both Rodrik and Johnston held at Champlain College of Trent University in Ontario. The booklet provides extensive narrative and timeline information about the lives of both father and son, much of which could be useful to add to the Johnston page and to start a Rodrik page, but I'm unsure whether it constitutes a verifiable and reliable source.

The booklet includes the following information on the Acknowledgements page: "The design of the imprimatur and the writing of the biographies was produced by White Briar Publications and contributed to Trent University for the occasion of this exhibition, March 27 to April 18, 1973."

I have found a reference to this booklet on an art auction website (http://www.heffel.com/Auction/Details_E.aspx?ID=36224), and a reference to White Briar Publications as the publisher of a work about some of Frank Johnston's art (http://search.library.utoronto.ca/details?3740607&uuid=16e28a53-b3f7-4d24-8d5b-6e96fb70118a), but no online version of the booklet itself, and no indication of its existence in any library, gallery, or museum.

In case it matters in terms of reliability, it seems very likely (I could explain the basis of my speculation if needed) that White Briar Publications is a creation of Paul Rodrik solely used for his publications (perhaps just these two) about the work of his father and himself; furthermore, it seems all but certain (again, I could explain further if needed) that the contents of the booklet I possess for the 1973 show were written by Rodrik. (To be clear: I'm not suggesting these speculations belong on any Wikipedia page; I'm just trying to provide info that might be relevant for determining whether the booklet can be considered a reliable source).

I would appreciate knowing whether the information provided in this booklet qualifies as a source for the Frank Johnston page, and perhaps as the basis for starting a page about Paul Rodrick who, his exuberant self-promotion notwithstanding, appears to have been a Canadian painter of some importance (apparently along with his sister, though I have found less about her so far). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Similar to nothing (talk • contribs) 22:05, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
