In the present article, it reads: "He was private secretary to several ministers and was granted the C.M.G. and C.B.E. for his services, especially in the revision of the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature that was officially adopted in 1958." On the cover of the first volume of the Bulletin of Zoological Nomenclature, in 1951 however, it already says: "edited by Francis Hemming, C.M.G., C.B.E." That's well before the 1958 Code was adopted. On the other hand, it seems highly unlikely that he would have been granted the honours in advance. So I guess this section will have to be edited inasmuch that the honours were not received for his editorial work on the Code.  Wikiklaas  15:26, 31 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
