"AIDS virus" edit

It would be more correct to say "Her knowledge in this field led her to discover HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, in 1983" rather than "Her knowledge in this field led her to discover the AIDS virus in 1983." AIDS is the name of the disease. HIV is the name of the agent that causes the disease. She discovered HIV, the agent of AIDS. 71.207.151.17 (talk) 18:49, 9 October 2008 (UTC)BrappReply

Clicking on the image, you can see that its direct source is the CDC Public Health Image Library, and from there dig deeper to look for their sourcing. DMacks (talk) 05:44, 20 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Reference 5 edit

The section up to reference 5: "During the AIDS epidemic in the 1980s, scientists were shocked because they didn't know what was causing the outbreak. Her knowledge in this field led her to discover HIV [5]". However this references to a Buzzfeed quiz, where one of the questions is "who discovered HIV". Why is the original paper not referenced, and why use a Buzzfeed quiz? Seems out of place.
