no mention of train accident, please review edit

..as redirected from: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_accidents_and_disasters_by_death_toll#Train_accidents_and_disasters

Anyone know anything about this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.0.74.138 (talk) 18:27, 30 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

That would be fr:Accident ferroviaire de Saint-Michel-de-Maurienne, which means that the redirect shouldn't be to the tunnel, but to the French line (Culoz–Modane railway. But, the details are actually in the article for the Italian line: Turin–Modane railway#1917 accident. This is a legacy of the recent renaming of these articles, I'll try to fix it. Okay, the link from List of accidents and disasters by death toll so that it points to "Culoz–Modane railway#1917 accident", which is an anchor with a further link to "Turin–Modane railway#1917 accident". Tim PF (talk) 22:17, 30 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
This was changed some time ago to link via the Fréjus railway accident redirect page to "Turin–Modane railway#1917 accident".
There is now a separate Saint-Michel-de-Maurienne derailment article derived from that section (which has now been pruned), and soon everything should point to it. Tim PF (talk) 14:12, 19 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
