Possible pointers to improve article.
svg map of likeliest route / all possible routes, esp with old place names used in literature,
expand legacy > scholarly sec, esp re itinerary discordance within primary sources and resulting disagreements / inaccuracies in literature, and re qualifications / caveats to the voyage's commonly touted achievements,
expand legacy > cultural sec, esp re popular / lay / traditional accounts of the voyage, re monuments, celebrations, etc,
make table > accounts more intelligible, and get the missing place (col 1) values,
could likely expand voyage sec, giving more details / anecdotes (sev of these weren't included), but should avoid faulty / skewed accounts as per Davidson 1997,
also, add content from the many yet-uncited sources, as most of them seem relevant, of good quality. – Asdfjrjjj (talk) 20:41, 9 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
and, to legacy > scholarly, add discussion re the Honduran meeting with Maya / native merchants, eg interpretation by Mayanists vs others, etc. – Asdfjrjjj (talk) 21:38, 9 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
