Merge to Franklin County Courthouse (Illinois) edit
This article should be merged to Franklin County Courthouse (Illinois), which would be the appropriate title for a piece about the history of courthouses in Franklin County, IL. Djflem (talk) 17:49, 22 May 2022 (UTC)

- Yet in this article the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Franklin County Courthouse are all discussed. Besides, "Fourth" does not appear to be any kind of official or common use name, but made up for this article. It seems the buildings changed but the name has remained the same, and in this case the replacement is in same location/site. Djflem (talk) 02:58, 23 May 2022 (UTC)
- Support merger. As I mentioned and was otherwise discussed in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Franklin County Courthouse (Illinois), it makes sense to discuss multiple courthouse buildings that replaced each other in one article, which provides better context for all information. Note this one is about the 4th, which it briefly describes, then it dives back into early history of the county before the first one. Just do one good article providing the setup for the first one and the reasons for making replacements over time. --Doncram (talk,contribs) 05:00, 21 March 2023 (UTC)
