Talk:Four-wheel trails in Moab

Latest comment: 12 years ago by Mcnilloc

Moab Utah has been growing in popularity over the last few years especially. A lot of tourists travel to this area to test their vehicles on the off-road trials. I decided to post this entry because these trails, which are becoming just as popular as the Angel's landing hike or Antelope Island, didn't have even the slightest representation on Wikipedia. The best source material for information on these trails comes from "Guide to Moab, UT Backroads & 4-Wheel Drive Trails," by Charles A. Wells. The information I'm including on wikipedia was never meant to supersede the information in his back. If one looks closely, and is familiar with the Wells book, I'm actually including about 3 - 4 sentences for each trail, for which he writes 2 - 3 whole pages. Also the Wells book is a very comprehensive look at all the trails in Moab, covering 50 in the book. I'm only including information about the more famous, difficult rated trails. I feel that a lot of people will find these entries interesting and will be of value to Wikipedia. Mcnilloc (talk) 15:39, 16 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
