Peer review feedback and task list edit

Having received very rapid and helpful feedback from Peer review, these are my thoughts on what still needs to be done:

Peer review feedback

  • Copy-edit the lead section for flow, weasel words, etc.   Done
  • For that matter, copy-edit the rest of the article for tone, style, and the occasionally clumsy grammar and phrasing, and to limit the use of "thus".
  • ill in the infobox fields   Done
  • Find references for the Roman section   Done
  • Find references for the Castle section, and a more descriptive title than "Castle"   Done
  • Find a better title for Fortress section   Done I hope
  • Use inline citations   Done

Additional thoughts

  • Expand the section on the remains of the fortress, and their use for other purposes since 1867
  • Find images of the garrison, and of life inside the fortress, to illustrate the sections on "Living conditions and relations between garrison and inhabitants" and "Animals". There are several colourful pictures in the articles that I reference ([1] [2] [3]), but they are presumably copy-righted. All the article images at the moment are of the buildings themselves, and I think some pictures of the garrison(s) would liven it up a bit.
  • I really want to include more on literature (as in, literary works, poems, ...) inspired by or referencing the fortress and the foreign garrison. I am convinced that some literary works in whatever language must have been written over the hundreds of years of its existence. I just can't find any.
  • EDIT Also maybe add a section on "Topography" or geography or something, which would explain more in-depth why it is such a good natural location for a fortress and what the geo-strategic significance of the location is.

Having followed and acknowledged most of the various point in the peer review. Could you find some way for making without that non-sensical and ugly "border area" term in the begining of the lede ? In the same sentence, "historical" seems to be holding the place of "strategical", so probably solving that second point should help regarding first's. Othgerwise, of course, much more commonly is Sveaborg known by the same epithet. Beautiful article, now. Cheers! --Askedonty (talk) 18:39, 4 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
I'm glad to see the article is coming along so well. I've added a few historical works on the fortifications, some of them quite detailed. I also looked for poetry and novels featuring the fortifications but could not find anything of substance.
