  • This article describes the history of the Fort Campbell, KY, Children's Theatre, including some of the plays that were presented, the type of programs that were presented, and the people involved. It makes no attempt to glorify anyone or anything. While all the events were well publicized in local media at the time, most archives do not go back that far. it was up to the individuals involved to provide the information by personal interviews. Nobody stands to benefit from any of this -- it is a nice way for those involved, both as staff and volunteer participants, to remember the program, and for others to learn what happened there. If Wikipedia believes a branch of the Music & Theatre program of Morale Welfare of a U.S. Army base is not notable enough, so be it, but there are many children's theatre programs listed in Wikipedia that are no more "notable" than this program.
