COI violation

edit

Turns out an [i made] on this page relating to a fort Grandpa bought is a "COI violation". I did not know at the time what one is. What do i do now? 56independent/notacoworcatTalk 17:46, 7 November 2022 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 56independent (talkcontribs) Reply

@56independent: I, personally, don't think you need to do anything other than reading, if you haven't, Wikipedia:Conflict of interest and the disclosure parts in particular. Grandfather owning something feels like you can make factual edits with a note in the edit summary but there are options if you're more cautious.
As for the edit in question, I think it's useful and I style edited it some so that should be good too. Happy editing. Skynxnex (talk) 01:14, 9 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
