Image placement
editI strongly suggest that the left hand side images be moved to a gallery section. At the moment, the text is being "squeezed" too much and the layout is non-standard. – ukexpat (talk) 19:25, 17 September 2010 (UTC)
I Kinda Like the Page As Is
editMy feeling is that the images are an integral part of this article about an historic site. I will try to weave references to the images into the text more effectively, though. This article was originally set up to describe a NRHP site, so I am "stuck" with the extremely long NRHP template. If it's important, could someone let me know where the "standard" WP layout is described? Pgrig (talk) 13:41, 18 September 2010 (UTC)
- I think I can move at least three of the photos into a Gallery, and will do this soon. This will help make it less cluttered....Pgrig (talk) 13:45, 18 September 2010 (UTC)
- Created separate section for less important images Pgrig (talk) 16:30, 18 September 2010 (UTC)Resolved
- I moved a bunch of them to the gallery as it was still very cluttered and it squeezed the text. Kevin Rutherford (talk) 23:25, 20 June 2011 (UTC)
Merge of Fort Banks Mortar Battery article
editIn line with the way other fort articles have developed, I'm proposing that the Fort Banks Mortar Battery article be merged into this one, especially as the fort had only the one battery originally (split into two later). Comments are welcome. RobDuch (talk) 02:00, 7 March 2017 (UTC)
