is there any SMMT figures to prove that the ford transit connect isn't as popular proportionately as either the ford escort or the courier?
I added some information, ut could not figure out the proper way to reference.
the article about the Transit Connect coming to US was covered by autoblog: http://www.autoblog.com/2007/01/02/report-ford-transit-connect-to-be-sold-in-u-s/ it seems the original article from Turkey is no longer available, however. Please someone edit this page and add appropriate reference. Thanks
I figured out the links ..
I would like to propose we merge the Transit Connect and Turneo Connect into one post .. they are the same car in 2 trims .. and it will keep the information easier to navigate. It will also combine 2 stubs into 1 larger article that is easier to expend.

The engine/transmission options box shown don't match what the text says....and what is on the lot. 166.84.1.5 (talk) 02:58, 11 January 2015 (UTC)
In Canada it appears that the only model available is the high roof model. The low roof model shown in the article doesn't seem to be available and the dealers even deny that it exists! The high roof model can't access multi-storey parking facilities. Also there's no USA "chicken tax" applied in Canada, but imports seem to be governed by the chicken tax regardless.
