Map
editLet's put in the historical map that is in many of the sources; it should be in PD. By the way, what is the weird blue at the top of the Ohio map? The portion of Lake Erie within the state's borders? Whatever the case, it looks strange. Badagnani 22:23, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
- It's quite important to have the state map (which includes Lake Erie, yes). I was going to add the historical map, but it's been redrawn, so in my interpretation it's not PD. We could ask on the policy page of the village pump. Nyttend 22:45, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
What do you mean "it's been redrawn"? It appears to be simply a scan of a very old map, or a page from an old book. Badagnani 22:48, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
- That's what I thought, too, but note that it says "Based on...". Moreover, if you click on the link on that page, it takes you to a longer page with many examples, and at the bottom there's a list of credits. For items 3 and 4 (note that the map is item #3), it says: "Redrawn by Dr. Lauren Chattegre (Lauren A. Knowles) from Atlas of Ashtabula County, Ohio (Titus, Simmons and Titus 1874)." Population
editNeed population. Badagnani 22:24, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
- It's neither incorporated nor a CDP, so I don't know how the population could be ascertained. Nyttend 22:45, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
Post office
editNeed to know when post office was closed down (admittedly very difficult now that all WP's zip code articles have been deleted a few months ago). Badagnani 22:24, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
- I haven't any idea where to find a source. My advice: you found several sources about it, so find more where you began. Nyttend 22:45, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
