I'm trying to think of the most important headings and would accept some input and ideas in this direction. I'm thinking of the following:

  • Cycles and density (note: this is not biogeochemical cycles, but cycles as in cycles and loops in topology)
    • Predator prey systems
• Applications
  • Conservation
  • Climate change
  • Ecotoxicology
  • Ecosystem management
  • Ecosystem services

Sub-headings under kinds of food webs:

• Parasites
• Grazers
• Omnivores
• Marine
• Aquatic or Freshwater
• Terrestrial
• Dessert
• Polar
• Microcosm or bacterial or
• Microbial
  • Viruses
  • Achaea
  • Bacteria
