Geology edit

The paragraph about the geology of the Forest of Fontainebleau still has to be written. This would be very much appreciated! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.20.5.161 (talk) 19:14, 11 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Grades in Fontainbleau edit

Part of the article says that an 8A in Fontainbleau may be more severe than an 8A elsewhere. My subjective feeling having climbed many boulders in the 8A region in and around Fontainbleau is that the grading is mostly severe on slabs, and after around the 7B grade, the grades become quite similar to elsewhere in my experience. I've tried looking for a source on this, maybe it would be interesting to combine data from sites like 8.nu to see what percentage of climbers do boulders of a certain grade. However, if there's no citation for the claim, I'd say delete it. 2A02:810D:640:3D64:7C80:8964:F74D:AD45 (talk) 13:05, 8 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
