Cast edit

Serious problems with the identification of cast members - Keith Taylor, for example.... think I have fixed David Bailey. lmno 00:48, 6 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

After looking at the link, I knew immediately that this link was incorrect. The Keith Taylor that actually was in this movie is a friend of mine, so I changed the link so that it went to his IMDB site, as he does not have his own page on this site. 76.87.191.13 (talk) 04:30, 29 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Posters edit

I've taken on board the revert regarding the DVD and poster and agree. However, I feel that the article could do with the film poster as the DVD gives the impression that Kurt Russell was one of the reasons people went to see the film rather than just being a cast member. OK, maybe try moving it to the right side as it throws off the section header alignment. RlevseTalk 16:30, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Basis edit

I know the article says this was based on a novel, but were the events of both the movie and novel based on actual events? Does anyone know? The entire story has a very genuine, plausible feel to it. MarkoOhNo (talk) 11:27, 15 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

The MacKinlay Kantor article doesn't indicate that the events of the novel were part of his life in any way; he was born 15 to 20 years too early to have been a Scout in the 1930s, let alone later. I haven't read the novel, but from my experience with other Disney films, they bear only a vague resemblance to the novels on which they're purportedly based, sometimes better, sometimes much worse. Follow Me, Boys! is probably an amalgamation of Kantor's novel and the experiences of the screenwriter(s). — QuicksilverT @ 14:20, 13 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
