so, everybody seems to be convinced that Vllvriae is for "Illyria". This is sometimes mentioned as a 'fictional' coat of arms. But surprisingly, its design is exactly the star-and-crescent design of the Ottoman flag, but predates it by a full century. Very intriguing.

Also, I have been unable to figure out what the Primordiae coa is supposed to represent. sr-wiki apparently goes on about "native lands", while bs-wiki appears to gloss this as "Primorje", which would designate some 'coastal' polity, but it is still completely unclear which one, and neither the Balkanese wiki articles nor the internet at large seems to have a clue about it.

As for the combined coa, the camo.ch page glosses it as zajednički (složeni) grb, which basically just means "combined coa". Here, Primordiae is also identified as "Primorje". The double-headed eagle (J) is not glossed, but instead there is a (K) Kotromanic. Perhaps this refers to the small inescutcheon? But it looks like the Bulgarian coa a second time around, and nothing like the Kotromanic one. --dab (𒁳) 12:38, 6 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
