Transwiki some content to Appropedia? edit

A lot of interesting content on this page is not yet sourced. If no sources are found, then rather than just deleting it, please transwiki it to Appropedia:Fog collection. (I would do this myself, but it might be premature, and I don't want to look like I'm stealing the content for my own project.) --Chriswaterguy talk 02:36, 4 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Other Uses: Could something similar to this be used to replenish the Oglala Aquifer in the central plains states, USA? Possibly not a fog collector so much as something that, when conditions are right, "forces" a dew point on surrounding air. 2008-02-16 76.170.113.73 (talk) 04:13, 17 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Effect on soil moisure edit

It would be interesting to know about possible adverse effects of large scale usage, such as the potential of increasing soil aridification, if the collected water is not used to restore/increase soil fertility. In other words, can collection decrease ambient air humidity and reduce the potential of soil rehumidification, or humidity preservation? 76.10.128.192 (talk) 06:06, 6 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

condensation of fog edit

"the fog condense into droplets " fog consist of droplets, so fog can´t condense in any way. fog droplets settling down or combed out are more correct--141.30.161.90 (talk) 11:00, 10 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

"Guy-wire" versus "guide wires" edit

On Wikipedia's "Fog collection" page... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fog_collection In the Main Heading: "Modern methods" (2)... The incorrect term "guide wires" appears... Which correct term should be "Guy-wire". SEE: WIKIPEDIA - "Guy-wire": https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guy-wire Hankdm (talk) 06:15, 10 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
