This is a unique game. It's one of the longest played games using a disc. It should have it's own identity. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Playhard (talkcontribs) 16:06, 8 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Merger proposal (2008)

edit

The material that it is proposed to merge is just a list of games. Most (if not all) of them are here already. There is no real need to merge anything. If the issue is the need to maintain just one central list then the obvious solution is a template. The one used on the bottom of the Rubik's cube articles (Template:Rubik's Cube) could be used pretty much as it is, just copy it to, say Template:Flying disc games and change the text. It could go on all the individual game articles as well, just like they do on Rubik's cube. SpinningSpark 22:50, 12 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Urban Disc Golf

edit

This section seems poorly written; likely a copy & paste from a site promoting the activity. Note the use of informal first person language. Requires citation and reliability measures. 24.11.87.84 (talk) 04:54, 17 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Urban Disc Golf

edit

Urban disc golf is certainly an activity and one we use to play before the standardized pole hole targets, and still play when disc golf courses are not available. What is written here is not a game, someone was making this up as they wrote. I'm going to re-write this as an activity that lead to the game of disc golf.65.129.149.66 (talk) 20:44, 31 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Merge Schtick (disc game) to here

Merge proposed (2015) Schtick

edit

Schtick (disc game) should (in more concise form) merge into this list. It has only one non-primary source, and at least two commenting editors and the closer in recent RM discussion, on its talk page, have suggested WP:AFD. I think the gist of it can be saved here. It's not notable enough to survive AfD, but just sourced enough to survive as a list addition.  — SMcCandlish ¢ ≽ʌⱷ҅ʌ≼  16:16, 25 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Schtick merge proposed (2017)

edit

There's no evidence that this game has ever been played Schtick (disc game) and it's founder David Donohue appears only to exist in Wikipedia. None of the reference links work and I've never heard of this game and I've been around disc sports for a long time. Nothing comes up in online searches except Wikipedia. Schtick article author should have to give proof of play. 24.117.36.141 (talk) 09:00, 10 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Requested move 9 July 2023

edit
The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.

The result of the move request was: not moved. Clearly opposition to this request, with commenters thinking the other page should possibly be renamed instead, but that’s neither here nor there. (non-admin closure) - 🔥𝑰𝒍𝒍𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑭𝒍𝒂𝒎𝒆 (𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒌)🔥 01:49, 17 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
