Distinctions from other ships in getting 'Around the Horn' edit
One of the largest distinctions conferred on the flying P-Liners was their ability to get around Cape Horn without being ravaged by the storms that made it such a treacherous passage for most ships; this article could easily be enriched by addressing what the unique properties that allowed it to brave the Horn so consistently were. They are not ennumerated here or in the wikipedia article on Cape Horn, and they are at least as significant to the history of the line as the details of their involvement in the nitrate trade are. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.171.57.245 (talk) 00:00, 17 December 2013 (UTC)
