Conservation edit
I would still like to keep a conservation section talking about the success this bear has been, while still mentioning the need for continued action. Habitat edit
"Black Bears in Southern Florida are the only subspecies to live in a Sub-Tropical region." While this statement is properly sourced, it doesn't make much sense. Much of the southern half of the United States and also parts of Mexico are subtropical; not just Southern Florida. Other subspecies, such as the Louisiana black bear and the Mexican black bear, inhabit subtropical regions as well. 71.203.144.172 (talk) 17:43, 3 August 2014 (UTC)
